I’m not for a second suggesting that I support the gun laws as they are - in an ideal world they would be banned but having spent a fair amount of time in the US I imagine it would cause absolute uproar.Oh well. I guess we tried but then we all forgot about all those dead kids. And got on with watching football.
Was this shooting not chaos? Sandy Hook pretty much defines a country in chaos? I guess you mean the economic chaos of lost arms company profits.
The Swiss yodel so they must be wrong uns. Yodelling is only acceptable in Focus concerts and when delivering parcels.Yes, but Switzerland's population has a much lower density of Banjo ownership. 'Tabaccer' chewing is also on the wane in swiss culture. Finally, Switzerland had a much higher tolerance for 'Commies'.
The 'cuckoos' tend to be kept in the clocks in Switzerland too!Yes, but Switzerland's population has a much lower density of Banjo ownership. 'Tabaccer' chewing is also on the wane in swiss culture. Finally, Switzerland had a much higher tolerance for 'Commies'.
I did read the article and Remington is being held up as the poster child for the “Trump Slump,” which is why I posted what I did. In their case, the Trump Slump is simply a slogan umbrella for simplistic answers for more complex issues. So not only did you not read the article, you didn't read my post.
My post had nothing to do with Remington, nor to do with bankruptcy, but to do with a fall in gun sales since Trump took charge. Which is why I quoted the profits and sales of SMITH & WESSON (who haven't filed for bankruptcy).
You keep arguing against a point no one is making though.
Indeed. They lost their boogeyman...Obama!!Just for clarification, the point I was making was that in spite of the pro-gun policies of Trump who is funded by by the NRA who no doubt have funding from gun manufacturers as well as Russia and gun nuts, gun sales are hugely down as sales only seem to increase when there is a perceived threat to the supply. I doubt that was what Trump intended when he lent his support to the gun lobby. Whatever the actual reason Remington have filed for bankruptcy I would imagine that the huge decline in sales hasn't helped.
