And so the madness is compounded.
I asked an American family who moved into our area (Yorkshire) what prompted them to do so.
They had two children about 9 and 11. They replied: “School shootings.”

Absolutely bonkers law, this latest incident with a 6 year old apparently is a result of the teacher telling the kid off, who then got a gun and shot her.
I have a 6 year old myself and, whilst there are times they're very unreasonable and act on emotion, they do also have the basics of right and wrong to an extent.
That said, take the gun away and nobody gets shot. Right to bear arms my hairy arse.

This is why they need to arm teachers. If she would have had a gun she could have shot the 6 year old before they shot her.
