I'd love to say unbelievable but it's no surprise, 99% of people over there are on a different planet.And the new Speaker of the House says:
”Now is not the time to legislate.”
Fuck me.
Strikes me the best chance of seeing a sensible one is if they travel abroad for pleasure and are not 'landlocked', most of those seem to be just plain annoying.

This is on the money. Maybe it’s the technology, but more and more people seem title losing the plot. Hence the increase in these types of tragedies. Maybe humanity is going slowly mad.As soon as I ever hear news of this sort of thing, I immediately think, ‘I bet he’s a conspiracy nut’.
That’s what all those conspiracy theories breed at the extreme end.
People think it’s harmless or even a good thing and a bit edgy to say ‘don’t believe what they tell you, always question everything’. But in being so paranoid and untrusting, those who’ve got a few wires touching have always got the capability to lose the plot completely as they’re just drowning in lies and don’t live in reality.

Been to an America a number of times and loved every second. Have visited over half the individual States and loved something in every single one. Except Florida. I also really liked most of the people I met. Even in the deeply Republican States I visited. Met some brilliant people.
I last went in the autumn/fall of 2019, about six months before Covid. Did a twelve day road trip in a Mustang with my best mate. From Denver to San Antonio, via Santa Fe and back via Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth and Colorado Springs. It was intense! One of my favourite holidays.
But I’m not at all inclined to go back. The country seems to be completely losing its marbles. It’s certainly not the America I remember. It could be my perception of course, but I haven’t formed this view in a vacuum.
It’s definitely a society in decay. No question about that. But then again, so are we.
