I think you are right. My mistake.I thought hungerford led to the semi-automatic ban, and dunblane led to handgun ban

I've seen open carry in Ohio and Nevada loads of times.I've spent 12 and a half years here and have yet to see an open carry! Though to be honest I haven't been looking.
I know when out and about friends have said that friends of theirs we are with are carrying but I've never (obviously) asked them to show me!
You mean like school, Uni or cinema's etc?but, for the most part, simply knowing where not to go keeps one out of 99.9% of potential trouble…because it’s rarely random.

Are you a tabloid journalist or would you prefer to deal in reality? You mean like school, Uni or cinema's etc?
I’m probably considered fairly well traveled in the U.S., esp the metro urban areas, and have seen very little open carry. It is far outside the norm, except in a tiny sliver of the country.I've seen open carry in Ohio and Nevada loads of times.
Unsee it all the time in rural merca, doesn’t faze me in the slightestI’m probably considered fairly well traveled in the U.S., esp the metro urban areas, and have seen very little open carry. It is far outside the norm, except in a tiny sliver of the country.
Exactly. In your neck of the woods, it’s almost negligent not to be wearing some self defence.Unsee it all the time in rural merca, doesn’t faze me in the slightest
It’s so peaceful, I really doubt and have never run into any chavismExactly. In your neck of the woods, it’s almost negligent not to be wearing some self defence.
The Brits pride themselves on being subjects, obedience to the rule of a non existent law and being completely helpless to fight for themselves. Lots of chest puffing in the name of decency whilst all around the flames get higher. The level of ‘Little England ‘ on here, whilst makes me smile, also makes me cringe and worry for my friends and family that still live there.Exactly.
