Today's shooting in America thread

I’m probably considered fairly well traveled in the U.S., esp the metro urban areas, and have seen very little open carry. It is far outside the norm, except in a tiny sliver of the country.
Btw I never carry a firearm for self protection, never felt the need for it

The Brits pride themselves on being subjects, obedience to the rule of a non existent law and being completely helpless to fight for themselves. Lots of chest puffing in the name of decency whilst all around the flames get higher. The level of ‘Little England ‘ on here, whilst makes me smile, also makes me cringe and worry for my friends and family that still live there.

I have been assaulted just once in the UK.
I have never been shot or stabbed or know someone who has been shot or stabbed.
I have never been arrested.

Don't believe everything you hear.

I grew up there, didn’t move away till my mid twenties, I know what I’m talking about, it’s way more violent over there

It must be avoiding me, I don't care what you believe to be true the USA has a reputation for good reason. Stop lying to yourself.

The United States is the only Western nation among the world's 50 most conflict-ridden countries

It’s so peaceful, I really doubt and have never run into any chavism
It’s amazing how chill people can be knowing everyone is packing, but want to just get about their business, isn’t it?

Unlike this Chicago scholar…

If he’s not dead already, I’m pretty sure he wishes he was!

There was a huge thing of ‘glassing’ people in the eighties, to the point where the old traditional beer mug was done away with, I knew several people with that telltale scar around the eye

I’m not lying, those statistic come from crime ridden shitholes, I know it’s hard for you to envision how large this place is……

And there has always been a huge thing of actually shooting people in the USA , I don't know one person with a scar from a glass or a knife wound or god forbid a gunshot wound.

Statistically you are more likely to be murdered in the USA, we don't even come close.

You should graph the violence and you’ll find that 95% of it takes place in 5% of the country.

Same here it's mostly inner city, but it's nowhere near as common as you think it is.

607 murders in the UK last year.

USA had 21,000 +.

Suggesting the UK is more violent than the UK or any other western country doesn't hold up in any way.
