I'm an American. I put on the uniform and fought in pointless wars on behalf of my countrymen.
Not all Americans suck. But too many are fat, ignorant, lazy, brain washed, shitheads. The country is irredeemable at this point. I would never raise a child here, and look forward to leaving.

You think we eradicated the Taliban? Yea, good fucking luck with that. We invaded Afghanistan to strike at the Al Qaeda perpetrators of 9/11, who were hiding out there. After they fled the country we stayed for another decade plus, without any clear objective. When we leave Afghanistan nothing will have changed there. Except for a bunch of kids who are dead or missing a leg or 2.

The big difference is the far right is not IN CONTROL OF your country! And both the monied and the Russians love it!!
OT:If push came to shove and you were forced to live in another country and had to pick one, you’d be lying if you said the US wasn’t near the top of the list.
I’d say as an English speaker, you’d have to put New Zealand top by quite some distance.

The Taliban have had enough, they’re now begging for peace talks and have lost the power they once had.
With the likes of Al Qaeda and the Taliban if we’d not gone their power would have been ten fold and many states around the world would be in so much danger.
