Yup. 45 miles from me. I’m NW of the city, Joliet is SW. Made the news, but not “big” news here, unfortunately!Police search for motive in Illinois mass killing

As soon as I saw the headline the first thing that came into my mind was “The Blues Brothers”.Yup. 45 miles from me. I’m NW of the city, Joliet is SW. Made the news, but not “big” news here, unfortunately!
Clearly, a family spat, so no-one worried like they would be with some random serial killer type spree.
I hate to sound blasé about it, but the surprising thing is a mass murder with the weather so cold! Usually, it’s hot, humid weekends that usually cause the biggest problems. This was a COLD Sunday night.
It was an NFL Playoff night, so wonder if that was involved, as nobody really out and about in this weather!
TBH, the weather was MUCH bigger news on Chicago stations!!
