Well yeah, but there have already been a few complaints about things not being shown live and then being spoiled on the BBC website/Twitter account before they've shown it on BBC One. I think Chelsie Giles' bronze medal match wasn't shown live and instead we had to watch a repeat of Jade Jones getting knocked out for the third time that day. And there are a lot of times where you might be into a longer sport, and then they cut away and it's not on the red button.
I'll be honest, it's irritating me how much punditry there is. When it's a single event that's happening like the Euros, they obviously have to fill the 15 minutes somehow. But when there's always another sport on, the last thing I want is another motivational video about which school one of the athletes went to or in depth discussion from people who don't really know about the sport but have to blag it anyway.
I'm really into climbing and I watch the competitions regularly on the climbing federation's Youtube channel. But with the biggest competition ever, I wonder if I'll actually be able to watch it start to finish, because Britain aren't actually that good at it and only have one climber.
ETA: As I type, they turn off the softball final to talk about swimming. Not show swimming, just talk about it ffs. Now a video about what music Adam Peaty likes to listen to. I'm not that interested in softball, but either show the final or don't. Don't start showing it and then fuck it off for this wank.
