I think the surfing has those beat so far though as the shittiest event even ahead of horse dancing. The final was just 30 minutes of a guy swimming around.

What’s the Russian Olympic Committee?

Russia's doping ban means they can't compete under the Russian flag or name but they can compete as the ROC. Weirdly they're not allowed to have the word Russia displayed without the words neutral athlete too, they should be referred to as the acronym ROC not the full title on their uniforms but its apparently absolutely fine to call them the Russian Olympic Committee.

They're basically Harry Maguire.
