Its sad to see an atlete struggling so hard under external and internal pressure that they can't do what they've been training for 5 years to do.


I would have thought anyone with a shred of empathy would understand that.

It will surprise few that Piers 'Moron' Moron has slagged Biles off.

So that's Markle, Biles, Osaka.
But defends Gascoigne.
I'm sure there's a reason...
 
Also Its particularly sad IMO that its happening to someone who is almost universally acknowledged as the greatest of all time in her sport, and who had the mental fortitude to compete and win and keep going back to events where she was being sexually abused as a child by someone who was supposed to be protecting her and her fellow gymnasts.

Not to mention she had the strength to win 5 World championship gold medals while passing a kidney stone.

Hearing some random person talk about her "bottling" would hilarious if it weren't so pathetic.

Hopefully she speaks to someone, gets some support and is able to compete in the other 4 events next week.
 
Rugby sevens - GB got beaten fairly comfortably by NZ, judging by the scoreline.

9.30 - bronze medal match - GB vs Argentina
10.00 - gold medal match - Fiji vs NZ
