I played Football, a bit of tennis on the park, pitch and putt, Games at school was a joke, the Javelin day was about throwing it at each other, running was for gimps.

Eton though has its own fucking boating lake, we had a stream we would throw kids in.

I was at a reasonably competitive swimmer and slalom canoeist, does that make me posh ? Get the fuck in :-)

No but it does feel like it, certainly one of the sports that seems never-ending when I'm doing the schedule.

Sailing, Swimming, Cycling, Rowing and Athletics seem to be the sports with a shit load of events. Luckily we're decent at a few of them.

35 swimming in the pool. 12 track cycling with 4 road and 6 mountain/BMX, 48 athletics.

Curiously there are only 14 rowing but only 10 sailing - there are just lots of races in the sailing. There are more shooting medals than rowing.

Do the BBC show any athletics? Just catching up this morning and pretty sure athletics started last night and DAS ran in her first heats in the women’s 100 but absolutely zero mention of any athletics on the BBC coverage.
