If i was going to have a favorite Utd manager it would be this fella. Much preferred him to SAF or Busby.

Indeed they did. I once had cause to deal with him and Mary on a professional matter and, whilst she was the brains, they were a loving couple. Sad news.

There were more things I liked about Tommy Docherty than I disliked.
It was unfortunate that he had a spell managing that side from Trafford (being polite!).
I think he felt badly treated by them in the end.
