We all know because they are blues, Mike died 9 years ago, and OK Glyn only a few weeks ago, but while they are our legends, unless they were superstars why would people know about old players from a club they don't support ?
Born in 1971 and 1972 respectively, so there is no real reason for them to know about Glyn and Mike, I know Mike played into the 80's but he wasn't with us after 1978. I'm 58 but I don't remember many footballers from when I was 7 unless they played for City (or were internationals).

I must admit to a slight feeling that he may not make it with us before last night, but he looked so at ease and totally unfazed that I'm now a 100% convert. I thought it was great to see him playing with David and KdB in the PL, his previous 2 games he showed promise, but he needs to play alongside senior players, he's clearly very talented, and but also a confident young lad as his exchange with David showed at the final whistle.
The commentary which I was watching at commentators mentioned names and said both have aggregate of 900 games for CityAnnoyed me that last night when he came on the commentators mentioned his 2 grandads having played for us.

He is only 18, so to see him look like he fitted in amongst the senior players last night was a delight, and unlike many youngsters they looked like they trusted him, he only has to make 2 more first team appearances this season, and he'll have played more than he has for the U23's (according to wkik anyway).
