tomorrow night on warwick road?

to be honest lads a lot of us have seen all this before in its heyday, but for the younger ones it probably is quite frightening, so you shouldn t really take the piss out of them for being concerned

This will be my first visit to OT for many years as I have resisted going since the 80's in case there was trouble. But because this is the semi final I wanted to be there. My (grown up) kids have pleaded with me not to go and now I am beginning to wonder if they are not right!!

Thanks a lot for scaring the life out of me OP!! I will be going on my own, although of course I will try and mingle with the City fans, but it is still pretty scary after reading all this!

Cheers :-(
I'm sixteen ffs and getting over from Rochdale on my own, if you don't want trouble stick with other blues & don't wear colours.

Worst. Advice. Ever.

If it happens, and it prob won't, certainly not there, just do what you'd do any other time some scratty little child tries to jump you.

It's being made out like there are 9000 wildebeasts walking home being stalked by fkn lions...

Chin up people...
This!

I heard from a very reliable source that steel barriers have been erected all around the ground and everyone entering will be searched, turnstiles will be opened earlier than usual because of this. Same person said security is massive for this one and will be surprised if anything goes off anywhere near the ground

The same bloke just told me that the barriers are already up! He works very close to the ground and he said he's seen them. Also said that at least 400 cops will be deployed at the ground, not counting the areas surrounding OT. He's a solid bloke, not a bullshitter

right just to clear a few things up on my post:
-i wasn't saying it like oo no im shitting myself and ill mkae sure i go the other way, because i wont be, i will be going the way i always go which just happens to be that way.
-i heard it from someone who i know used to fight for united and he still goes but doesnt get involved anymore but he said he still knows lads who do, hes not a kid.
-i was just making people aware of what i have heard, nothing more, nothing less.
