That's actually an interesting point...I really do believe Txiki is playing a game of chess on this 1 and he has been manipulating both Real and the Pogba camp to get what he wants, Toni Kroos!
After all Kroos seems to fit a pep profile much better than pogba.

Ability has nowt to do with it at Real. They have to have the new 'toy' on the market regardless of whether he fits their system or not. Pogba is this summers must have accessory and could you imagine how they would look should he sign for rivals Barca?This talk of Kroos being sold to fund Pogba is brought up a lot, but is there a particular reason they would sell him, one of their centerpieces, ahead of James or Isco?
