Well yes since the no. 10 position is the one he knows best and is most effective at.NoahCity said:Dream midfield right there, and Kroos can play as a No. 10 too, but I doubt we are for him, just usual paper talk.

We aren't really short of 10's with Silva, Nasri, and Jovetic. Add the fact that since we play with two strikers normally, it would make things even trickier with a player like Kroos.
IMO this is media bollocks in reaction to the glove incident.
Why would he want to leave anyway?
He's still getting a lot of playing time and is a German plying his trade in his own country where I imagine life for the treble winner is full of bliss, free beers and free fanny.

Both of you probably do t watch Bayern and im surprised you said that after he was world class when he played you guys at the Etihad. Pep has played Kroos more than any midfielder on the team.sam663 said:Proelia said:Kroos is vastly overrated

Boo , prefer Sidney Sam to that Vorpommernian any day .
Pep was asked about "punishment" for Toni Kroos.
Pep groans: "punishment?" Then says: "We have many important players and lots of games, when the whole squad is fit, everyone will play.."
And he says: "We have changed the system in the last two games a little bit."
"For this reason, it was just a tactical decision. Toni Kroos has helped me and the team a lot., And he will help us in the future."
"I always analyze my team and our opponents strengths and weaknesses Then I decide who will play,"
" This is not the first time in my career that a player criticized my decision, it is...... happened to me in Barcelona many times. It is normal that a player is upset when he does not play."
" Afterwards, I need to talk to him. My only goal is to win. If I decide that we need a big striker, then Mario Mandzukic we need. If not, then another, then you can play again, and Toni., he must bear it. "
