Toni Kroos

If Kroos becomes available every top club in Europe will be all over him like white on rice. United wouldn't stand a chance. They may be very interested in him, but who isn't?
They don't need him. They've got Ronaldo coming back, and they don't buy players anyway. RVP was youth, no?

And their midfield issues will soon be resolved when Sneijder and Fabregas come back from injury.

Every top prem club has a "Toni Kroos" section in the transfer area of their forum atm, but there is no way he'll leave Bayern imo. It's all play acting to get himself that big payrise.

We might give it him:)

I'm sure you would !

I am not so sure.

Because of the performance of Wednesday? That was a match in which he showed all his strengths - but he does not only have strengths. That he is a beast in passing especially if the opponent leaves him a lot space to work in is nothing new.

And his goal was the first one in the CL this year after 22 shots without result. About the same in the Bundesliga were needed 41 shots for 1 goal.

He just wants to get into a wage bracket in the club where the club does not see him. And the others around him are not less talented.

Where would Toni Kroos play ? Are we going to drop Toure for him ?
Toure will be 31 going into next season, but Kroos would only move for 'guaranteed' first team football I think.

Kroos' weakness is the defensive parts of his game and he is not as physical as he could be. However, he is 6ft and can work on his defensive game. A bit like Scholes/Pirlo his fantastic range of passing should allow him to dominate matches into his mid 30's. He is just 24 and already has so much experience.

Bayern losing Kroos for Thiago will be a mistake in my book.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA and the rags saying we are buying success!

Manchester United will pay transfer target Toni Kroos £250,000-a-week to join from Bayern Munich

Manchester United are offering Toni Kroos £250,000-a-week to quit Bayern Munich and join David Moyes’ cash-laden revolution.

Wayne Rooney has just agreed a £300k-per-week extension to his contract and Moyes believes he can use his new financial firepower to tempt the Germany international midfielder to the Old Trafford giants.

The £1million-a-month deal is three times what Kroos is currently on at Bayern, who would want a £30m transfer fee for a player whose pay demands they have rejected.

Bayern know that Moyes is on the 24-year-old’s trail, but boss Pep Guardiola is not afraid to make bold decisions and Bayern have many alternatives, despite Kroos’ stunning recent form - including a goal in last week's Champions League win over Arsenal.

Moyes is buoyed by Rooney’s decision to stay and the backing of the owners ahead of what is expected to be a massive summer spree.

Another German midfielder, Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan, is high on Moyes’ wish-list.

Porto's France international Eliaquim Mangala is lined-up for the centre of defence, where both Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand are likely to leave big boots to fill at the end of the season.

Moyes also wants Southampton left-back Luke Shaw and hopes his money will talk louder than Chelsea, his main rivals in that race and Shaw's boyhood club.

shouldn´t they spend their money for a coach?

I would laugh my ass of if Kroos would transfer to Manchester United - only to recognise that van Gaal got the new coach there by summer... (I do not think they were the best friends as van Gaal really wanted him to work in defence...)

Just heard from my source that Kroos will either stay at Bayern in the summer or move to the club he has been most heavily linked with.

Seems Legit :p

Bayern Munich working hard to tie Toni Kroos to a new contract

Financial director Jan-Christian Dreesen says they will be making a big effort to keep the player and will highlight the success he can achieve at the club.

"We are ready to keep on discussing with Toni Kroos and I am hoping to be able to see these talks end successfully," Dreesen told Sport-BILD.

"We are about to put up something substantial in this respect.

"We really want to appreciate the performances of Toni.

"We are serious and sustainable. At our club you will enjoy success."

Van Gaal is right. Kroos needs to improve defensively. Nobody is asking him to be as good as Schweinsteiger defensively, but he must do better. Pirlo and Scholes cope well enough. He is not the best midfielder in the world now and before Gundogan's injuries would put the Dortmund player above him, but if Kroos were to work on his defensive game he would become the best mifielder in the world by the time he hit 27 or so.

I'll see your prediction and raise you this little beauty;

I reckon that the winners of La Liga will hail from either the Catalan region or the Spanish capital city.

Fernandinho is better than Kroos.

He hasn't been able to show his play making abilities as much, because Pellegrini plays him in a defensive role.
