Alongside Fern and Gundogan i think the workrate/skill set ratio will be superb.

I've been a bit underwhelmed in terms of some of the players we've been linked with in this window, but I'd be delighted if we managed to get Kroos. His passing (and crossing) tonight has been almost faultless, long and short.

Not sure how Germany are 2 down in this by the way!

1) Pogba going to Madrid

Why is point 2 so important? I thought he had 1 year left of his contract, and so money wise it is just 1 years salary if he stays.

because I doubt we would want to pay Toure £220k a week for rotting in the stands. We can only have 17 foreigners

You could cut that in half easily enough though by loaning him out. Inter say.

The Kroos love is strange. It seems everyone has turned a blind eye to his laziness on defense. I guess in a way, he'd be Yaya without the goals. Slightly better possession, slightly worse goalscoring. About the same defensive effort. Little!

Kroos is brilliant.. easily Germany's best player out there tonight. How he gets 90+% pass completion with some of the probing passes he makes ill never know.

Madrid would be stupid to let him go and he would massively improve us.

Agreed. Germany got a few really good players, but they were carrying some passengers tonight.

Yeah his highlights will look amazing but I'd much prefer Kroos, a player who can dictate play. Happy for people to bang on about Pogba though if it helps City get Kroos!

This guy is the best at what he does in the world right now. Hardly gives it away and everything he does is positive. No passing just for the sake of it. City should pay whatever it takes to get him if Real are willing to sell
