Best match I've been to for a long time!!!!
....Petetheblu HMP on day release.
They looked absolutely knackered, Dejong looked superb even though he's only played one game previous and I'm looking forward to seeing Tevez after a couple of more game and he's got his sharpness back (as at the moment he's only a bit better than Dickov) and his eye for goal. Early days
Saying that, City have changed! After that brave performance (overall) on Sunday we would of normally of lost tonight....Well done to MH for bringing a level of dogmatic professionalism to this City side, by christ we've needed it!!!

Terrible spectacle for the paying public but a win's a win, I suppose.
I often question the wisdom of playing a full side against a second string. Some of the players seemingly turn up with the attitude that turning up is all they have to do and I think some of the fringe players extra zeal and passion would work in our favour.
In effect, I really do believe we would see a better performance by leaving some of our star players out in such games than we would by having them playing.

That won't happen.
If you look at it logical (ha!! me and logic) Tevez is only just back from injury and this was only his second game, possible three more game to see what he can do.
DeJong as wonderful as he's been is also getting back to fitness.
Superman has been playing with an injury, but did look back to his best when he was pushed up abit at the start of the second half.
Zabba was'nt match fit due to his time also warming the bench.
So there's four players that would'nt of played a full 90 mins if other were'nt injured or banned.
Sadly missed a tall guy tonight up front, Ade and Pertrov are going to be something else.
Goals of corners superb ,remember the days barton used to take them all and the free kicks ,they were shite...bored shitless tonight but glad i witnessed toures first goal , young vlad couldof done more with his oppurtunity would of helped if he had put studs in...respect to the fulham fans who made it.song of the day to the fulham fans " your not really here " class.come on city get in there and all the big boys are left in we may get to take the piss out of fergies woman neville yet...........

It wasn't great football, but Fulham had every man behind the ball, and pinched the first goal.
Breaking down a determined opposition is part of football, and although it wasn't thrilling, there were reasons for that
De Jong did OK, but I didnt see the point of a defensive midfielder in a game like that where Fulham were very negative. It wasn't hard work which we needed, it was a bit of individual ability, and interplay between the forwards in the final third.
The front 3 flopped. bellamy played well, but tevez struggled.
Thought Hughes nearly lost the game in bringing weiss and Petrov on. That gave Fulham a lot of possession which they had hitherto been denied.

Not gonna complain too much cos we won.
I was just surprised that we were so on top yet couldn't do anything about it. Wish someone had just took a shot like their lad did. That was a cracking finish that even City fans applauded.
It was frustrating and a really dull game. But again we would've lost that before now.
And scoring off corners. I didn't think we were allowed to. Ah well I'll always be there, do wish the atmosphere was a lil better. I felt like crap with a cold so wasn't singin myself anyhow.
