We will all have our thoughts on why's and wherefor's regarding tactics etc but anyone who thinks that the refs are not biased towards the rags are fucking deluded.
Too many too often to anything but corrupt.
Now rather odd that we as their main rivals get fuck all ney I'd take Fuck all but that's nit the case, they actually do their best to harm our chances to overtake their rag darlings.
But why would they do that? What would they gain from it?
Our failure to breakdown and beat Villa and Birmingham, was that the refs fault? I don't think it was, infact since Christmas even my dad, (who knows little about football), has said we are becoming too obvious in our play. It is that reason why we aren't beating teams, and beating them convincingly with the players we have. Again though, of what benefit is it to referees as they go to bed on a Saturday night in the knowledge they have favoured United, or denied us?

It doesn't help though when the refs are so biased, imo it certainly adversely affects the City players when they see the opposition getting away with murder.

Case in point being the other night when both NDJ and Kolarov get booked for their first challenges yet Bowyer goes through the back of Dave and gets nothing other than a ticking off.

The Rafael one - yeah i'll give you that, it was a stonewaller.

and if it had been Richards or Zabba who had done it i think we all know what the outcome from mr walton would have been ...dont we
No, we don't. I don't anyway. Who knows why the ref didn't give that pen? Perhaps he saw something we didn't, or to be more precise, didn't see what we did sat in our chairs with a million replays. No-one will ever convince me there is an agenda to let United win games, or at least not lose them. United are just a good team who know how to win, which is what we need to do and do fast. For all we know if that was replicated with Micah in Rafael's position, the ref may have given it if he was 100% certain it was a foul, or he may not have given it for whatever reason it was he didn't give it against Rafael.

maybe the lads are getting fed up of playing all these midlands clubs lately lol

villa, brum, notts county, leicster, villa, west brom

how do you think Webb has come to referee the final of world championship?

you really believe that if in his career he was an "enemy" of United would never have been able to get there?

Again though, (and no one has ever been able to answer this), what benefit is it to Mr Friend the other night to make our players have an adverse effect on the game by not booking Bowyer but booking NDJ? What difference will it make to that refs life? What you are saying is that the refs don't want City to win, I hear that, but why don't they?

Yeah i've said that one was stonewall, but who's to say 100% we wouldn't have got the same favourable decision?

If BM dropped Milner and stuck sweep on the right, with strict instructions to cross the ball onto Dzeko's head, then we would score plenty. Even from the knock downs to Tevez, but he won't. It'll be another game of playing through the middle, with Carlos playing his one man mission to score more goals than Berbaflop.

i'm with the op, we will leather someone before long.our biggest threat is not bob and his tactics its the refs, they give our opponants so much confidence and belief when they go un carded, soft pens and booking our players only. you can tell the way teams come out for the second half that their manager has spotted the refs antics and rammed that down his players throats.bob dropped some proper clangers v brum but at the end of the day that handball would have give us 3-1, do you think birmingham would have come back or indeed had the heart to carry on the fight after that cos i dont.
So its down to the refs that we've not tonked someone yet, and not the failings of our £250m squad? I would say the latter, and I say that because there is no change in play, its all through the middle and every single team in the league knows it now.

I have to agree with pidge, however i TRY and look at the positive and i have to say i'm struggling to atm, come on Bob we need to win tomorrow. 1:0 or 6:0 i dont care.
