Coton definitely one of the best keepers I've seen at City but I think Corrigan was better.

Quite a childish argument this. He never played for United. He was forced out of City by a manager who preferred Eike fucking Immel. He was coming towards the end of his playing days and had a chance to stay in the area and secure a coaching role. Best City keeper I've ever seen and will be buying his book no question. If Agüero went on to coach at United would he cease to be a City legend?

Badgered Bernard Halford to write his autobiography warts and all, but hes not interested Shame it would be a great read
He was a top keeper and was the reason I wanted to be one when I was younger but soon as he joined the rags he was done with me. How much did we get for him can anyone remember?
Loved the ladies did TC, Swales wanted him long gone for one reason or another (;
My fav ever city keeper, shitted all over England's best at the time, I wonder who had influence at the FA to restrict his appearances (:
Maybe, but very little in it at their best, IMO. Corrigan probably produced high-class performances consistently for longer (between 1975 and the early 1980s). TC took a little while to find his feet, but was phenomenal in 1991/2, his second season, when he was voted ahead of Schmeichel into the PFA team of the season. He was at a similar level for a couple of years after that, but then injuries took their toll.
Haha, me and my sis were watching that on tv in one of the Main Stand bars with Neil McNab. His son was one of the ball boys.Derby at home, and Niall Quinn saved the resulting penalty, won 2-1 and sent them down!
