Totally agree and apologise for the Ched links in my last few points. It is interesting that you use the term "Full consent" that to my mind opens up an even greater minefield when it comes to sexual assault and rape. I can see it from the point of view in rape where the female might agree to some heavy foreplay but refuses full sex but can you give me an example where sexual assault could occur when you have given some consent to sexual contact?

I believe, may be incorrect, that rape is non-consensual penetrative contact and sexual assault is non-consensual physical contact.
Someone more learned may be able to be more specific.

There is a line between foreplay and penetration. Foreplay does not necessarily mean penetrative sex will occur.
Sometimes you change your mind.
Sometimes you never wanted to go as far as sex any way.
