Too many games are damaging players

Think about it , over the past few seasons we have played over sixty games and went right through to april in several competions , add to that the cl and internationals it is no wonder our players are knackered . No othet team has done what we have done since pep arrived so we are suffering the most

What they get paid is nothing to do with it , they have long since paid it back bar one or two

Why ?
Let's drop the extra Champs League games first.
I would rather see City v Lincoln in the 3rd round, £15 a ticket than a dead rubber 4th home game against Sporting Zakinthos £30 a ticket.

I've complained in here about Uefa and FIFA but we first have to look at the greed of the clubs.
Because clubs make more money more recognition more coverage than the league cup, also you have answered why yourself with the greed by the clubs.

Ok. Let's drop the League Cup

And as the Champs League makes more money, let's have 4 more matches, 2 home, 2 away and not go into the FA Cup until the 6th round

After we've sacked off the FA Cup we can start playing matches in Europe to make us more money.

In fact, let's go for the kill, the European Champs League is so yesterday. The real money is in the World Champs League*

* as long as Messi doesn't retire before it starts otherwise the yanks won't buy into it and that's where the real money is.

That’s some rant, have you had a bad day ?

It's down to the clubs. They have a duty of care to the players and if they've played too much they should be rested.

Yeah, sure we pay their wages and we don't want players to be rested for key matches.

But don't say we care about player welfare if winning a game is more important.

There is a solution in the hands of clubs - simply refuse to release ANY player for these crazy friendly international breaks.
