With the inclusion of Dio I am going to ask a question that will possibly bring me abuse. Though he won't feature in this list what do people make of Graham Bonnet as a singer?
Back in the day I remember expressing the opinion to my denim and patch wearing schoolmates that he might not look the part but he had a pretty good voice. Seem to remember their response to me was something along the lines of 'fuck off you two-tone wanker'.

He was a total departure from the typical rock singer look but my then girlfriend used to wet her pants every time he was on TV

I've been given a clue from a reliable source as to who the winner is.
They wouldn't tell me the name directly but gave a cryptic clue that the no 1 was connected to a chemical element.
I'm ruling out a member of Led Zeppelin or Andrew Gold. I'm veering towards that Chad Kroeger fella from Nickelback.
Its driving me Gaga that I can't think of anyone else.

I had Rod as my number 2.Rod Stewart was very close to making my top 10 - brilliant vocalist at his best.
Dio and Liam also got consideration.
