I heard a rumour Marvin could be the winner.
Cliff will be rightly pee'd off if Hank is really that far ahead of him.
One Marvin, one huge song and a no.1 to boot, obvious really

It was James Brown who I was thinking folks would be kicking themselves for missing given how incredibly influential he was on the entirety of soul/funk, and as an entertainer. But the SDJ shouts are another good one.
I voted for Sinatra #3 and thought he would win. He is the only singer I can think of where I listen for his voice and not the music -- if someone puts Frank on in the background, I never object no matter my mood. But I'm a child of rock and roll so the music matters more.

Nicely done again.Just to give you all a little insight.
Marvin Gaye came up on the rails in the last couple of days voting and came from 4th to 1st.
Another to benefit from late voting was the guy who shoves a flower up his Arse and he finished 13th.
A big thank you to all who voted - it’s been great fun and very respectful as always.
