Only one of mine in that initial list...i suspect the Billy Strings one was mine :-)Well there’s one of mine.
Didn’t think anybody else would vote for Sonny Landreth.
Billy Strings is a very good shout.
Only 1 for Josh Homme? Sure he might not be the most fingerflicky skill-boaty swoon guitarist, but had such a distinctive sound that influenced a whole array of bands and arguably an entire subgenre.
Anyone wish to curser a top ten debutante. I'ill stay with Carlos but feel Hacket will be in with a shout.

isn't his relative obscurity due to him being content to have a limited but loyal following? The internet age has enabled this for lots of talented musicians.I was happy to see another vote for Francis Dunnery.

I have a couple of those too. Bob Mould being one that could have replaced a couple of mine. It ended up being more my top 10 I can think of in 2 minutes, as opposed to my top 10. I'm sure I'll see more as the list is revealed.

I was referring to his time in It Bites although that was some time ago now.
