Thank you all for taking part.
I really enjoy doing these polls and some great music conversation.
Don’t mind continuing as long as you want me to or someone else fancies a crack at it.
How about selecting our top 20 UK Number 1 songs?
Still a music poll but with a different angle.
Can spend time sifting through official list online, so easy to come up with a personal list

Not had any so far.The only one I thought about in the the list so far is Paul Kossoff.
Free must be the great forgotten British rock band.
Brilliant singer,bass and guitar players.
I think their quality is hugely recognised among older musicians.
Must admit I'd never taken any interest beyond 'Alright Now' until our bassist told me to take a look - and I found a treasure trove of incredible stuff from them.

Here's what I went with, I knew nobody else who vote for my number one but I hope maybe a few will be inspired to go and check up on their work if you're not familiar.

1) Vito Bratta
2) Slash
3) Joe Satriani
4) Steve Vai
5) Randy Rhodes
6) Eddie Van Halen
7) Nuno Bettencourt
8) Joe Perry
9) Zakk Wylde
10) Paul Gilbert

Ten favourites in no particular order:

Neil Young
Simon Neil
J Mascis
Pete Townshend
Keith Richards
Jimmy Page
Stevie Ray Vaughan
