Wait until the next Ten BMR :-)Still none of mine: /
And you Mr Sadders !Still none of mine :-(
Bit surprised OZ's Kylie rated well with four voters but good on her she has hung around for over 3 decades and created few enemies in the industry.
Not bad for a soapie tv actress.
A bit of blues thrown in which I like.
Happy that Cass Elliott mode the list a fine voice and left us way too soon.
Alison Moorer I would have had much higher but she just fell short of my top ten.
We all know his no. 1String bands and Soprano I like it.
Foggy Mountain Boys are in my top 50 bands of all time.
Me I thought someone might with a push also choose my number 2 of all time Elizabeth Fraser ( Dream Pop extraordinaire ) and like Newsom a genuine soprano but not to be.
Teardrop would be very little without her vocals.
As for my number three Merry Clayton IMO a better ( wider vocal range with more depth ) soul and gospel singer than the Queen herself Aretha who could out Jagger , Jagger any day anytime on stage who again no one else will vote for.
What the Wrecking Crew were to session music and making the records what they were , Merry was to back up vocals none better.
Going to do some checking out on your two as we seem to have a little in common when it comes to quality.
I think I know who your number one is and FWIW its a great choice.
One of the things I've always liked about the Cowboy Junkies is they just seemed to do what what made them happy and felt true to them, with zero fucks given about what they might do to be more 'commercial'. Think they appeared on one of the big big talk shows and decided to play 'This Street, That Man, This Life' which is both beautiful and lyrically brilliant but is even darker than most murder ballads.
I keep my favourite pretty close to my chest. I would be astounded if anyone guessed ;-)String bands and Soprano I like it.

Absolutely landed to see my second choice Sharon Den Adel from Within Temptation in thhttps://youtu.be/reGlno9aUpwere thanks to @Hart of the Matter.
Amazing voice and good looking girl. Can’t wait to see them in April.
Will do.I keep my favourite pretty close to my chest. I would be astounded if anyone guessed ;-)
anyhow Joanna Newsom is an American singer songwriter and harpist. I included her on the back of one absolutely astounding album Ys. Her voice is an acquired taste that not everyone will love but my god that album is heavenly. Have a try, I would be interested what you think.
Top singer, live, these are phenomenal. Saw them in Amsterdam with an orchestra. Superp.
