Top 115 Female Music Artists Results | No.1 page 63

Yes I voted for The Go Go's but realised it had to be the singer rather than the band.
They are supporting Billy Idol at the MEN Arena this summer.

I've seen Idol live three times.

Relucant to book many gigs at the moment. Still have several to go to that have been postponed.

This one is on my possibles horizon if it doesn't sell out.

Two of my ten nominees in this list already. I was the only voter for Bonnie Raitt and one of two for Susan Tedeschi.

For me, one of the best things about these lists is the opportunity to discover new music/artists.

As an old fart l have to say that I haven’t heard of several of this first 25. I won’t embarrass myself further by naming them!
I was the other Susan Tedeschi voter - you have great taste ;)

Allison Moorer definitely hard to sacrifice probably need a top ten country / americana / folk rock list on its own where she would be in my top ten for sure.

Happy that Judy Tzuke made the list Welcome to the Cruise one of the first ten albums on vinyl I bought from a solo female artist and had in my top twenty but just couldn't squeeze her in the top ten.
Allison Moorer was my no.2 pick, but I’m not expecting to see anyone else vote for her (anymore than I expected anyone else to vote for Nicole Atkins), so she probably won’t feature in this particular chart. Saw her about 3 years ago in Cadogan Hall in Chelsea duetting with her sister, Shelby Lynne, and about 15 to 20 years ago in the Barbican. Love her voice. Nice to meet a fellow fan by the way!

I voted for Judie Tzuke. Her early stuff really rocked live. Great shows and superb arrangements. Come hell or waters high was a hit for DC Lee I think and her later songs are great. Lion is a particularly great ' beatlesque song.

Love her music song writing talent and singing style for decades Exeter quite incredible when you consider her turbulent personal life.
