Liverpool / much as it pains me to stay. More games In Manchester raises money for the City. More tourists more visitors and more spend. People hugely underestimate how much our two football clubs contribute to the Manchester economy.
They'll have the same amount of games, arguably more, in the Thursday cup.

Good point but still hate the scousers more
Oh I want them to miss out of the two as well, but more since they've the potential to actually put the prestige/money to good use, they'd be a difficult quarter or semi final for us and I want to see the rags get a group of Bayern/Madrid/Lens or similar and get fucking humiliated and dumped into the Thursday cup or worse before Christmas.

Looking at this logically, it's a while since Liverpool missed out. It was 2016 when they last finished out of the top 4 so they've had six consecutive years in the CL. And in those six years, they've usually done well, getting to the final three times and winning it once. They are dangerous CL contestants.

Over that same period, united are in it one year and out the next. And when they're in it, they've not really troubled the later stages. Financially, they can both survive a season out of the CL but it will probably hit Liverpool harder as they've had six uninterrupted years of good revenue from it. Klopp might go to somewhere where he's got CL football, which will hurt them more.

So I'd rather united get that last spot.
