The scale of police and political corruption (Hillsborough, Saville, Rochdale just to name three...) in this country is mind blowing... the stuff of movies almost. Sickening.
Yeah, you always hear about "bad apples" with regards to police abuses. They just don't get it. The issue isn't the bad apples, it the majority of people who work with the bad apples doing nothing to make sure they face justice. Has there been a single example of a cop convicted for something he did on duty as a result of people reported by one of their co-workers? Because every time something like this comes out, it's not the cop who committed the crime that shocks me, it's the silence of their colleagues or fabricated reports designed to keep them out of trouble. That's not one or two bad apples, it's institutionalized cover ups.avoidconfusion said:The scale of police and political corruption (Hillsborough, Saville, Rochdale just to name three...) in this country is mind blowing... the stuff of movies almost. If our kid we someone and I covered for him by saying he was with me all night I would be done for aiding and abetting plus perverting the course of justice!
I expect all involved in the cover up to be charged from top to bottom including the coroners from previous inquiries who have knowingly withheld or lied whilst on oath to be charged.
The lies and corruption need to end now and don't get me started on the child abusers ( see Bill Maloney for the cover ups on the royals and MPs, bloody shocking)!
Sorry for the rant but for years these scum bags have lied and it's now time to face the justice!!!

Just watched that 2nd video, truly shocking. The treatment of the families and the survivors throughout the process, but actually starting on the evening of the disaster. I just cannot imagine having to go through what they have.
If you haven't seen it, you should watch it.
