Got to remember it's both for same teams not as bad as people are making out and will effect spurs more than us as they play through Eriksen where as we play alot out wide even Silva and Kdb double up out wide with our wingers
I've said this before on the thread but the AM pitches are not as wide as our pitches and the 'wingers' area will have been trampled by all the players on the sidelines fot 3/4 hours every game so I'm not too sure that wide is good.

Honestly think this will be a tough game mainly because of the pitch. A possession based team will always suffer more from a bad pitch because it makes it harder to control the ball or pass it first time, allowing pressing teams to get on you. Throw in the already "generous" refereeing teams get against us and it's going to be really tough to not get into trouble playing the ball out from the back, or end up with injuries.

It's an absolute shambles that we are being made to play on that pitch and if it were the other way around you know we'd be getting all sorts of grief, but because the FA are getting paid by Spurs to play there (and seem desperate for cash) they will get away with it without consequence. The pitch doesn't look like it would pass a regular inspection, but their is no way in hell it will be called off.

Not looking forward to it at all, if we can get away with a point and no injuries, I'd take that right now.

According to reports the pitch was suitable for a NFL match so there is no way the pitch will will suitable for a premier league game. In cricket teams are docked points for pitches that are unsuitable, maybe if football were to follow that lead then in this case the game would have been played at Highbury, Stamford Bridge or West Ham's ground, none of which were used this weekend.
