I’m sure you are right mate but as a rule, When Wembley and the FA are concerned, money is usually the overriding factor.I'd imagine it has far more to do with the fact that the NFL booked that fixture in ages ago, while Spurs just fucked up their actual stadium so went begging to Wembley desperate for them to squeeze them in, otherwise they'd have to embarrassingly forfeit the fixture.
Seen better pitches down the park FFS. I am assuming ref will inspect it to make sure playable, if it is we will just have to get on with it. Spuds will have the same problems as ourselves.

I heard pundits saying exactly that,they were shoved into itI've seen this claim a number of times on this thread but it's simply not true. Rochdale laid a new pitch because they wanted it, not because Spurs insisted on it. It was entirely Rochdale's decision.

Couldn’t agree more mate, it’s a scandal how our so called national stadium is run ..If the twats at the FA had sold the place, a decent owner might have managed the place more responsibly.
