I was fkin there pal, i seen that we, manchester city got lucky getting 3 points against both these teams, can someone please tell Mancio that this was the case. If we play well, mancio then i will be the first to celebrate and tell everybody we have played well, against Blackpool and newcastle we did'nt, fact.

why the hell do you still use the word "fact" ???? you are shouting just opinions . you are entitleed to but please dont try to patronise your opinions with that silly word.

if you was in bonafide you would had recalled games like the one at sunderland or the one at home with blackburn where some umbelieveble and unique individual mistakes lead to lose deserved points.

Mate - you are wasting your breathe using the facts and the truth against vitriol, xenophobia and ignorance - you can never win.

But the point is you're abusing Spurs on a Man City site. And if you hadread my post, you would have seen that I didn't say we were better than you.

I'll reiterate my points a little shorter, if you like: I'm talking about the attitude of some Man City fans. Why do you hate us so much? Becuase we beat you to the FA Cup 30 years ago? Because we finished above you last season? Isn't that football? Do you think we hold a grudge against every club that's done better than us? Do you think that Leicester City hate you because you beat them in 1969 in the FA Cup? Wouldn't you consider that a little bit lacking in class?

Let me reverse your own question: how would you react if your latest owner hadn't bought you, but had bought say Aston Villa, and their fans went everywhere saying they were going to win the League and one of their fans tattooed 'Champions League Winners 2010/2011' on his arm?

Answer that.

Yes, City fans abusing Spurs on a City forum.

In the same way Spurs would abuse City on a Spurs forum. What on earth did you expect?

I have no idea who said what to whom. I just make the point above.
But that's the point. We don't. What you'll find on a lot of Spurs sites is (and I apologise for this) a sort of pitying humour at the amount of hatred that some Man City fans harbour toward Spurs.

We don't have threads about other clubs, even Arsenal. We talk about what we do, not what other clubs do, except when we're due to play them, and even then it's along the lines of 'Team vs. Villa' or the 'Stoke Match Thread'.

To focus so closely on what one particular club does demonstrates a very worrying attitude. Not for us, but for yourselves. You lend far too much significance to another club by doing so. As if your achievements, whatever they turn out to be, have been in done in the shadow of another club.

If you win the League, what will be the effect on Spurs? None, beyond that you beat us to it. If you beat us in the FA Cup, is that it? Will there be no more FA Cups after that? Why do some Man City fans define themselves by what Spurs do?

Every football supporter - regardless of their allegances - holds strong opinions. On their own club and others.

But to have the pious, condescending, self-righteous, arrogant gall to come onto a rival clubs forum and essentially tell everyone off!

And you then have the utter hypocrisy to suggest its us who lacks class!

Look pal, you're in our living room here....show some manners.

Sit down, chill out, and debate with us. We know our stuff and we're generally decent people.
But dont come in here pontificating and putting us down. You are a guest. Behave like one and we will behave like hosts in return.

Amen to this.

Don't worry about it mate, you are one of the most knowledgable (football wise certainly) and intelligent posters on this forum but unfortunately the mad house is being over run with the inmates tonight, or certainly the doom mongers.

I have seen nothing of spuds to fear this season and they should have lost their last 2 league matches. They have had far more positive luck than negative and to dismiss your views with the arguments put forward above makes me cringe.

Our fans do embarrass me sometimes.

i know one thing.

this thread, the op, and visiting spurs fans have turned blue against blue.

well done to those have fed their objective.

ycmiu.

btw city are my club and i am going to defend them to ANY visitor to our site.

Yes, of course they do, but do you believe that they hold such vitriolic ones as those that some (and I keep having to stress the some part) fans have towards a club that has no relationship with yours. We're in a different part of the country, we've not done anything to you apart from win a few games. Is the level of aggression by some Man City fans appropriate?

But to have the pious, condescending, self-righteous, arrogant gall to come onto a rival clubs forum and essentially tell everyone off!

Again, you're saying that I'm tarring all Man City fan with the same brush. I'm not. I used to know a Man City fan at work and our conversations were always interesting and respectful of each other's clubs.

And surely I have a right to defend my club? I'm not attacking your club. I'm attacking a nasty, vicious approach to my club. Have I been anything other than complimentary about Man City since I started posting? Can many of the posters on this thread answer that in the affirmative about Spurs?

Look pal, you're in our living room here....show some manners.
Criticism is not bad manners. Criticism is stating that I disagree with something. It isn't bad manners to state that I believe that some of you are showing bad manners. Or are you suggesting that saying that Spurs players are taking performance-enhancing drugs is the height of good manners?

Sit down, chill out, and debate with us. We know our stuff and we're generally decent people.
Of that I have no doubt. I'm criticising some people's behaviour, not them as people.

But dont come in here pontificating and putting us down. You are a guest. Behave like one and we will behave like hosts in return.
With the greatest of respect, 12 pages (the number before I started posintg) of Spurs abuse is not very welcoming, is it?

I read some truly horrific things about Spurs. Some posters have been dragging my club's name through the mud (some of which borders on libellous, I would add). Don't you think it's asking a little bit too much to take that well? And my response was measured. It wasn't abusive, it wasn't uncivilised. I wanted to draw attention to some of the things being said and how it lacked class.

I would accuse a Spurs fan of that if they had said some of the things I've seen today abotu another club.

Well said lee.
Agreed,he starts the insults then screams he's being abused, the one on using the login tonight is the worst, the other one that says dude a lot & speaks better English than most on here is a tad less abusive to City fans.
