Er, no it didn't. It showed what City fans think of you.
This thread about City can buy anyone, will thrash Spurs etc could come back to haunt City.
It might not. If your fans keep coming on here, having snide digs about money what do you expect? We think we are better than you, you think you are better than us, quelle surprise! Difference is, this is a CITY forum.
I think it should stop now.
Boo f*ckin hoo, thankyou for sharing your pain, why do you perpetuate it?
There is enough anti Everton, Stoke, United threads as it is
There's a good reason for that and it's because we get inundated with these fans kindly informing us what our problem is. It's irritating.
mano said:It just seems to me most City fans since they've come into money have forgotten their roots and become arrogant. I expect that off United fans to be honest

Fuck me you lot are boring.
OK, we're arrogant since the takeover.
We're worse than Spurs
We're mean and nasty.
Now will you all please kindly fuck off.

90% of the fans on the previous anti Spurs thread said they would beat Spurs to fourth. When City didn't the thread died.
It's happening all over again on here. Whoever gets fourth will deserve it no doubt. If City do it well done to them.
Most Spurs fans don't care about City, we have a beef with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea etc
I quite like City, used to love the likes of Rosler, Kinkladze and even back in the day with Barnes and Summerbee (not Nicky) . It just seems to me most City fans since they've come into money have forgotten their roots and become arrogant. I expect that off United fans to be honest
With the greatest of respect, the fact that you find it boring is not my problem. My posts have only been a couple of hundred words. That is not a massive amount of text to read. The average newspaper article is 300 words.Lucky Toma said:Firstly, pseudo-intellectual put-downs do become me. They're my stock in trade. Without them I'm scoobied.
Secondly, if you're standing in a pub and a bloke insults you....converse with that bloke.
Dont stand in the centre of the room and harangue everybody!
So one blue suggests that Spurs players take performance-enhancing drugs?
Have it out with him via PMs for fucks sake. Why go on and on and on and on and on and on about it boring the rest of us shitless?!
And I haven't you accused of badmouthing us.Here's a couple of facts for you mate -
1/ Until this thread I have never bad-mouthed Spurs. I dont hate them, nor particularly dislike them.
I hate the rags, Everton and Liverpool. In that order.
As it should be.2/ I'm a City fan who enjoys posting and participating on a Manchester City forum.
Again, no accusation was made against you.3/ I have never suggested nor intimated in any way that any player - Spurs or otherwise - have ever taken a performance-enhancing drug.
Incorrect. You have come on here to find some City fans being harangued by a Spurs fan.4/ I have come on here tonight - a City fan on a City forum - to find my club's supporters being harassed, harrangued, criticised and condescended by a Spurs fan. Who has also, on several occasions stated that we are obsessed with them
How is that hypocritical? It's a thread about my club. The hypocrisy (if there is any, which there isn't) would be in the fact that a City forum even containsa dedicated Spurs thread.Thats a SPURS fan on a CITY forum.
The hypocrisy is mind-blowing.
Find me one quote, one quote where I have attacked Man City the club. I am trying to make some of you see that what you are doing is actually damaging to Man City. You are losing friends in the footballing world. I saw an 'article' (and I use the term loosely) today saying you are the most hated club in the world. Its all very well saying that your words are aimed at SOME City fans.
But when you post them on a public forum we ALL have to suffer your tedious rants aimed against the club we love.
This is an endemic problem within the forum. It isn't about this thread in particular, nor about individual City fans. It is about this wave of anti-Spurs feeling, which has no reason behind it. We've been a bogey team to you on occassion, OK. We beat you to fourth last season, OK. But some of the things I've seen on BlueMoon, over the last two seasons has taken me aback. An outside observer without any kind of football knowledge would believe that a feud existed between us.So find whoever has so mortally offended you and send him a PM and get this squared off mate.
Who have I badmouthed? People who are engaging in behaviour that damages you, your club, my club, and English football overall. And yet you feel that I'mthe one who should be lambasted? Surely, if you kept your own house in order, then there wouldn't be a need for a Spurs fan to complain.Because you are a Spurs fan bad-mouthing City fans on a City forum whilst complaining about us lacking class and being offensive blah blah blah. The VERY things you are doing!
And not posting is the way to do that? Not confronting you is manning up? Not pointing out your faults in your own backyard is the way straighten my spine? Reserving my criticism is the way to grow balls? That's a very funny intepretation of courage you have there.I dont give two shits about your club and I held no prejudice against it until you have made such a tit of yourself tonight. Now I think if you're all like this God help the lot of you.
Straighten your spine, grow some balls and man-up for fucks sake.
Really, mate, grow up. That's the not the issue and you know it.A City fan has intimated that Spurs players take drugs!!!! Wont someone think of the children!!!!

It's not true, but some of your fans are not doing your club any favours with their arrogance and sense of entitlement. If you were having digs at the real bastards of the footballing world - the Arsenals, the Chelseas, the Man Uniteds (that one you already do, of course) - the clubs who have contributed to the destruction of English football with their Sky love-in, their inflating of transfer fees and screwing up of grassroots football, then that at least could be partially justified.
Instead, some of you (again, I'm not including you personally) are saving up your derision for a club that has a long proud history (like yours), and is building up to better things without betraying the principles on which football is built.

There is no feud. We don't hate you. You don't figure heavily in our lives at all. Within the context of Spurs history, Man City have not had any signifiicant part to play.
Surely the same is true of Man City with regard to Spurs. We play on opposite ends of the country, we haven't had any inamicable dealings with you. We haven't courted any of your players beyond the normal extent that exists between clubs. And yet, the attitude on this forum has been one of unbridled, uncontrolled rage against Spurs.
Who have I badmouthed? People who are engaging in behaviour that damages you, your club, my club, and English football overall. And yet you feel that I'mthe one who should be lambasted? On the Spurs forums I'm a member of, vitriol of this type against any club, bar Arsenal or Cheslea, would see posters banned, sometimes temporarily, sometimes permanently, because it is abuse. BlueMoon is an anomoly in that respect. No other club football forum I've visited or joined has that much hatred for a club that isn't a rival. Explain that.
The truth of the matter is that fans of clubs outside of the Top 4 would love to see someone get one over the cartel - break that bloody stranglehold. We did it last year, you can do it this year and in seasons to come. It opens the League up again, allows others a bite of the cherry.
In the world of football allegiances, we would be tacit supporters of that objective. Instead you view us so badly that it undermines any willingness to cheer you on. It paints your club in the same light as the the big hitters. And yet you think that youoccupy the moral high ground in this. Instead of fostering goodwill, it fosters apathy and reciprocal hatred.
Now, how is that good for Man City - the club you profess to love?
And not posting is the way to do that? Not confronting you is manning up? Not pointing out your faults in your own backyard is the way straighten my spine? Reserving my criticism is the way to grow balls? Straighten your spine, grow some balls and man-up for fucks sake.
If you knew the meaning of real courage you would, at the very least, acknowledge that I've brought my criticism to you, here, on yourforum, not my own. That I've faced all of your challenges, and not hidden away and posted on a Spurs forum, where in the main, only Spurs fans would see it. I've stood up and, at the very least respected you enough to criticise you directly, rather than backbiting and sniping at you from the sidelines.
Somehow I don't believe anyone who has been so quick to judge could do the same in reverse - go onto a Spurs forum and defend your club in the manner I have - without abuse, without being uncivil and at the same time showing respect for the opposition club.
Still want to talk about manning up?
Really, mate, grow up. That's the not the issue and you know it.A City fan has intimated that Spurs players take drugs!!!! Wont someone think of the children!!!!
