If you're looking at a table before xmas, them yes it does lie...we've been bloody lucky, f***ing awful and bloody amazing in equal doses this season so you can't really judge yet.

I for one have been mightily impressed by Spurs.

P.S. Why is it that so many people on this forum utterly slag off anyone or anything not City. Jeez, without the money we've got we'd be mid-table or lower. Yet we insult and slag off others continually

No, but they buy kits and spend shitloads of money on satellite subscriptions to watch the Champions and Premier Leagues. Gate revenue means absolute fuck all when compared to revenue sharing from TV/Cable/Satellite rights. Wise up yourself and learn something about why the Premier League is the best league in the world and two Spanish teams dominate the market. They have unique TV rights agreements. If you think Chelsea being the most marketable franchise for an entire continent isn't a cash cow because they don't "all visit Stamford Bridge", you're nuts.
