If Huddlestone is so good, how come Barry always gets the nod over him for England? Also non of our players 'accidently' stamp and elbow players.

And as for Silva, I agree with you to a degree but remember that you've only scored 3 more goals than us & played 1 more game at home.

My apologies for my previous post to those City supporters whom have shown a modicum of intelligence (you know who you are).

The two sides are pretty evenly matched, however we have the advantage of a more established squad and arguably the most devastating midield in the Premiership. With players of that calibre, you have to play fast attacking football. However MC have some great defenders/defensive mids so their style of play is nowhere near as appealing.
This season Spurs have been ravaged by injury, and at one point we had 11 of the squad out injured (vs Blackburn). To be still challenging in the league and CL despite this issue is a huge achievement . As a Spurs fan I don't really know much about City's injury stats, but I imagine there would be a lesser problem.
City have some awesome individuals who need to bond as a team. When they do hit it off, MC will be Top 3 without a doubt - but it won't be for another year or so. This year, Chelsea, USA, and Scummers will be top 3. 4th Spurs/MC depending on the attitude (not the ability!) in the 2nd half of the season. Personally I'd love for MC and Spurs to be top 4 and kick Arsenal out, but that won't happen yet.
Also can anyone explain how the new UEFA financial rules will affect City? We are lucky that Spurs have Levy to deal with this side of things.

What is it with fans of other clubs rating AJ higher than most blues while decrying many of our better players as overrated? That's some irony right there (not that I'm for one minute saying AJ is shite, but he's not the finished article and HAS clearly been overrated - or at least prematurely rated - by the press)

I think it must be because he is English and so the press have put out this view that he's one City player it's ''okay'' to like. Albeit with a widely taken-up option to lambast us at the same time for apparently not playing him enough, even though if he was a United or a to a certain extent Arsenal player it'd be ''genius Fergie/Wenger bedding him in slowly'' etc.

while Silva is good we have players in modric and kranjkar who can play such a role already. why would we want millions of pounds worth of waste of talent? (u guys wana buy bentley by any chance)

AJ is far from the finished article but he can play either side, has bags of pace and likes to get the ball in the box. Although he wouldn't make our first team especially with the form of bale and now lennon, and especially with the fact he is classed as homegrown talent, i would like to see him at spurs.

You would take Shay Given, Aleksandar Kolarov, Vincent Kompany, Nigel de Jong, David Silva, James Milner and Mario Balotelli as well as the players you've already mention as well if you could, as anybody with a footballing brain knows they are all players that could get in your team with considerable ease. you will probably disagree and I can understand why with you not wanting to admit your squad is rather inferior to ours. Given is better than any keeper you've got. Kolarov is considerably better than Assou - Ekotto. Kompany is miles better than Kaboul or Bassong, while Gallas is past it. The rest of your defence are all huge crocks that no other club would touch with a barge pole - never get a full season out of them. De Jong possibly one of the best DM in the world and is considerably better than Palacios. Silva again is one of the best attacking midfielder's in the world and again you would go along way to find somebody who would tell you Modric is the better player. As for the rest of your midfield, well lets be completely honest you haven't got anybody of the calibre of James Milner have you ? I'm not going to compare Balotelli to anybody apart from saying he is arguably the best young forward in world football at just 20 years old, he has also scored double the amount of premier league goals in just four games, than the combined seventeen games of Crouch and Defoe who have managed just one goal between them.

3. Your defence only do well as a result of 2 DM's being played most games such is the negativity of the tactics ur manager adopts.

6. Balotelli is a player i rate very much and has buckets of potential...but he also brings disruption and a lack of discipline. How his career goes could be vary varied and i wouldn't want a player like that at spurs for the simple fact he is a massive liability. Defoe would get the nod there for me. Again is tevex better than defoe? of course. Drogba, Torres and tevez are the best 3 in the prem althought this season i've enjoyed performances from carroll and elmander also.
7. James Milner...most over-rated player ever...but at least u got rid of Ireland.

That's a very impressive way of pretending to take up the points I made and offer an explanation - but in all honesty you completely avoided them by making your own useless comparisons. All the like for like players I compared, I wouldn't take any of yours over ours and please do tell which from the ones I mentioned you would rather have ? Although I won't hold my breath as trying talk honestly and sensibly with a Tottenham fan about football can be a agonising ordeal, as I have found out only too well in the past.

I like the way you tried to say Gareth bale and VDV contribute far more to goals and assists so you will be interested to know that the combined goals and goal assists for both of the players you mention is 17 - While Tevez alone has scored and created 14 goals. Did I also mention that the "most overrated player ever" has four times the assists that your wonderful Bale has ? Our defensive midfielder's of Barry and Yaya Toure also have more than Gareth's 1 assist.

I think more pundits would embrace city if they were more attacking. The fulham game was a good performance but all too often ur guys play like their scared of their opponents. Very strange with the talent on offer for u lot.

Would u guys like to see more exciting games or would u be happy to grind out results? Some say winning is all that matters but I like a style to it as well.
