If we want ANYTHING out of the game we need a clear 433 with hart sagna otamendi kompany clichy
Fernando Delph Fernandinho
Kelechi aguero sterling

No chance Celina will play. Pellegrini has only just started to trust Kelechi despite him showing ability from the early part of the season.

The side will have Toure in it. It's almost a given with Silva out.
my post is not about what MP might or might not do but what I think is in our best interest to do at this point. If you ask me, I think it's a big ask to expect results from Celina on his epl starting debut against a title contender but if there was ever a time to take some risk, that time is now.

I think it all depends on which back 4 he plays.

Assuming the same fitness as yeasterday

Hart
Zabba Sagna Otemendi Clichy
Delph Fenandinho

Silva Sterling Kolarov

Aguero

Fuck Yaya off, he hasn't got the pace nor heart for this one

Aleks is suspened i think and mp said david will likely be out with his ankle again
We are down to the bare bones for this one

After hearing about and seeing parts of the U21 game today, Barker and Angelino could be in with a shout of playing next week. Aleix Garcia should be in the squad too.

This is gonna have to be another City team that turns up compared to what we saw yesterday. Collective attacking by all means, but collective defending dovetailed into a much better individual and team performance. I'm not too bothered because it's the usual practice for the same personnel to turn up with a much enhanced performance. I might be changing my mind ten minutes after kick off, though!!

Will bounce back
On what evidence? I wish I shared your optimism pal but this team is down on its Arse!! Only Vinny coming back fully fit gives us a chance. Imagine Kane, Ali, Ericsson and Dyer running at that defence(without Kompany) and that lazy useless lump in the middle? I am, and it's giving me the Ertha's!!

A sad thing and clear indicator of how far we have regressed under Pellegrini is the almost complete lack of optimism on this thread. We already know Spurs are compact, organized and will more than likely dictate the game against our porous midfield that will once again contain (at this point) the completely ineffectual Yaya. When we once again line up with a seeming disregard for our opponents, I'm pretty confident we will lose. At home. Again.

With absolute respect to Spurs, Leicester, Liverpool et al, with our squad there should be no reason to fear any of them, yet we do. Roll on the summer, because as 'charming' as he is, MP cant leave quick enough for me.

Nice big defeat on the cards imo. Huge amount of injuries and zero confidence from the players against the form team in the league? What a shambolic season!

Not sure we will bounce back. We don't have any players left. 14 senior fit players.

Really annoying that half of City's support seems intent on burying manager and players not realising the situation we are in
