Have you somehow mysteriously intercepted the brain waves of Pellers? That could be the only explanation for that team.

-----------------Hart-----------
Sagna--Otamendi--VK----Clichy
'------------Fernando–----------
Sterling--- Yaya--Dinho-- Kelechi
------------------Aguero-----------

Gives us a chance.

Have a feeling this set up is what we'll see, though I'd imagine Kelechi will be swapped for Delph.

Pretty much all of our worst performances have featured Fernando (including Spurs earlier in the season).

I'm not saying we shouldn't play him but if you're pinning your hope of of us getting a result on him starting, I think you may be slightly overestimating his capabilities.

Think your just pinpointing 1 game a game we should have been out of site in befor the bad decisions and we went chasing the game! Think we look a lot more solid defensively ith him in the team!

This all day long!

Beware more transport chaos. Sunday KO should make it better, but there's more work going on around Newton Street. Presumably the 216 buses are running but from a different stand?

Put Delph or Kolarov in for Toure and that might work.

Hart to have a Barca/Dortmund type game and Sergio to make something out of nothing on the break. 1-0, job done, move on.
We're playing Spurs not a combined Barca and Madrid 11. The negativity on here borders on the ridiculous most of the time, but fear of Spurs? I know we aren't playing well but, if Spurs are some super team and their manager is some sort of Demigod, why are they 5 points behind Leicester and 1 point in front of City? They are good but they are not that good. It's a huge game and I'm hoping there is more positivity in the stadium than is to be found in this morose thread.

We lose to all the best teams. Almost all of our best players are out. We haven't played well in a long time and the manager is giving a very good impression of not having a clue. We should win!

This might be the first time in a very long time that we go into a home game as underdogs.

Not much chance of that I fear. The atmosphere in the stadium is normally tepid at best. The extension has not improved matters and lets not mention those bloody empty seats shall we.

We're not.

City 2.2 - (45%)
Spurs 3.65 - (27%)
Draw 3.65 - (27%)

Don't know why people are sucking Spurs off. Apparently they're much better than we are, yet they've been behind us all season and are now a point in front, and we're supposed to be shite. We're not great but they're not much better. It's true that we're capable of getting a hiding but don't be surprised if we have one of our good days. A lot depends on how we defend early on.

Think most people are concerned by how shite we are and not how good Spurs are

Spurs have been steadily improving all season, they have a super away record, have virtually a full fit squad to choose from (bar Vertonghen), hammered us 4-1 earlier in the season and play in a way that always causes us problems. We are in poor form, got dismantled by Leicester last week, are injury ravaged and have real problems in putting out a balanced side. We also seem to be totally reliant on Aguero for goals.

Apart from that why wouldn't we be confident over this one?
