I was born at Wythenshawe hospital back when Matron's were in charge of the wards. The new breed of 'managers' haven't got a clinical bone in their bodies (I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere).
My line manager was a moron as well. Very into stupid workshops which we had to attend even though we were bogged down with typing and short on staff.

I hope Spurs don’t pinch Frank.

He took substance (or assumed substance) over style again and hasn't got away with it. He took a mild risk getting Poch from Southampton a few years ago and it worked a treat (in terms of style, not substance) but since then he's been as safe as he can be with appointments with the sole purpose of being able to say he tried.

Mourinho? Serial winner? I tried.
Conte? Serial winner? I tried.

The next appointment will be a Poch-esque one (probably Poch himself) rather than chasing some old-school manager after being stung twice recently.

I think his first target will be De Zerbi at Brighton and then he'll go from there if he gets rejected.

Levy just needs a manager similar to himself with no ambition. Someone who is OK with a small budget that will allow Levy and the major shareholder Lewis to reap the profits out of the Spurs supporters.

A sad state of affairs for any football club.

Said it when Conte was appointed that this won't end well.

Conte is notorious for writing his transfer targets on a list and hands them off to whoever is in charge of acquisitions, he gets pissy when he doesn't get what he wants.

On the other hand, Levy - instead of giving you a top of the line player, he will give you the dollar shop choice that kinda resembles what you wanted.

This was a marriage made in hell.
