Levy knew exactly what he was getting with Conte - another Maureen. A dour, surly and quarellsome man whose idea of football is to get everyone behind the ball and just defend for over 90 minutes.

You'd have thought after the dull and monotonous tedium of Mourhino's reign Levy would have thought twice about employing someone like Conte. A man who was never going to win over the fans with his tactics and explosive temper.

Levy got what he deserves.

He took substance (or assumed substance) over style again and hasn't got away with it. He took a mild risk getting Poch from Southampton a few years ago and it worked a treat (in terms of style, not substance) but since then he's been as safe as he can be with appointments with the sole purpose of being able to say he tried.

Mourinho? Serial winner? I tried.
Conte? Serial winner? I tried.

The next appointment will be a Poch-esque one (probably Poch himself) rather than chasing some old-school manager after being stung twice recently.

I think his first target will be De Zerbi at Brighton and then he'll go from there if he gets rejected.

I don't believe a manager of Conte's ability is completely at fault for their season. But at the same time, they seem to be tactically setup to be 1-0 down in the first 45 minutes before attacking late on in a game and to lose 2-0. They limped out of the FA Cup at Sheffield United. They really should be in the semi final looking forward to losing to us next month. They limped out of the CL. 1-0 down, at home in a new ground with 60,000 fans and they could only muster a couple of efforts. Where was the passion and the fight from them? That has to be because of Conte's tactical approach as much as mentality.

Pochettino will come back, get them playing brilliantly again whilst winning nothing and finishing 4th.

You were doing OK until that bit about Spurs losing to us .....

He won’t go near De Zerbi because Brighton have a huge release clause in his contract, and De Zerbi would be stupid to go near Spurs when he’s likely to be in Europe next season and they won’t be, and he’s got better players.

Maybe he can use the interest to get a pay bump.

The NHS as well. I used to work at Wythenshawe Hospital and so many useless twat managers just got moved elsewhere within the NHS.
I was born at Wythenshawe hospital back when Matron's were in charge of the wards. The new breed of 'managers' haven't got a clinical bone in their bodies (I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere).

All this disrespectful talk of wiggy, he's not like a certain Cuban heeled, conceited, imbecilic twat who looked like he was the recipient of the world's first pubic hair transplant on his head!

Anyway hope those cockerels come home to roost in their state of the art...... Fucking cheese room.....(sniggering) in a mini go cart!

Wankers' wankers.

Don't sit on the fence. Tell us how you really feel...?
