The club is great in so many ways that most people never get to hear about. It was the most satisfying part of being a City Matters rep that you could get to help people in little and not so little ways at difficult times in their lives.

Sorry for your loss. Condolences to the family.
When my dad was ill and his days clearly numbered, I paid to take him and my son to a game against Hull in the chairman’s lounge. It cost a fair bit, but he was treated like a king. I’d told the hospitality team on the phone the reasons for taking him and they made a note of his name. His face when 2 or 3 of the old players came up to our table and said hello to him by name was a picture. It was the only time our three generations went to a game together but the club went out of their way to make it special.
We have our moments as a club, but we do get most things right most of the time.
