Touching from the club.

Sorry for your loss. Condolences to the family.
When my dad was ill and his days clearly numbered, I paid to take him and my son to a game against Hull in the chairman’s lounge. It cost a fair bit, but he was treated like a king. I’d told the hospitality team on the phone the reasons for taking him and they made a note of his name. His face when 2 or 3 of the old players came up to our table and said hello to him by name was a picture. It was the only time our three generations went to a game together but the club went out of their way to make it special.
We have our moments as a club, but we do get most things right most of the time.
