I am aware there is a post with a very similar title.. I would appear that the post of a similar title has gone on to talk more about people owing bikes and getting insurance… It is not about the race itself.. So would try to get more about the race itself..

After the first two days I think and hope we are in for a cracker.. It does not matter at this moment in time about Alberto Contador as the man still has to ride in the race and will attempt to win, I am sure.. With what has happened on the first day and put him a way back off andy schleck can only make this race out to be fantastic….

I hope Wiggins does well WIN? I don’t think he will but push himself for top 3????

I only follow this race tbh, I like the coverage and record the highlights and look forward to every night when the kids are in bed.

So whats others predictions????

Wiggy has no chance, but I'm hopeful for a good performance from him a la 2009 (he may as well have not turned up last year after he wimped out after the first stage prologue). May stick a few quid on Andy Schleck finishing first place podium though and green jersey for Cav.

I remember the head butt from last year.. Class...

I was waying up placing a bet on Andy Schlek last night but odds are rubbish for a gambler like myself ( i only have a few £££ ) on things.. not worth it...

Aye, can't see Wiggo winning this year, but stranger things have happened...

If he can maintain his form in t'hills he could well end up on the podium.

Keep an eye on young Geraint Thomas in the Sky team - he's a good un - top ten potential this year.

Looks like the organisers are already hell bent on stopping Cav winning the green jersey.

Prediction for Tuesday - Fabian Cancellara to win the stage up the Mur de Bretagne.

Anyway, terrific spectacle - vive le Tour!

Great to see Cav win yesterday and he's in with a chance today with a sprint finish expected. The Sky lads are doing OK at the moment also.

Cav was great yesterday and timed his attack great. I didnt think he was anywere and neither did the comentator until he got across the line. This lad is going to break all the records he is so good. He is only 26 and by the end of this tour he could well have 20 odd stage wins this lad could well be the best sprinter of all time. I think the Sky team are looking to sign him up and if they do it will be great for British racing. Never mind Wiggins get in Cav and see the amount of wins the lad gets.
