Toure kick out - no ban (update p30)

If he gets banned, he will be well rested for the League Cup Final and would only miss one League game.
I fear for us against Chelsea if he were banned for that one though, well any league game too to be honest.

Yaya has improved his behaviour a lot this season but this could hurt us badly, and I'm worried the FA will feel pressurised to take action, given how stubborn they have been over the Andy Carroll red

Hopefully he gets the Rooney treatment and nothing more is said of it

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

If they ban him for that it shows what a joke the FA are. VWW lying there until ref stops play, because he's injured , then makes a miraculous recovery to jump up and point at Yaya, unlike Nasri who was carried off FA excuse for that ref saw it , and Larson's assault on Garcia FA excuse again ref saw it Amazing how the media ref games retrospectively depending upon the club involved

Don't know why I said 1 game. It would be 3 wouldn't it, and the FA Cup game.

I think we can beat Chelsea without Yaya though they should be favourites given the injuries and Barca game.

I'm taking the long view. 2 weeks time we'll be at Wembley with all our top players returning.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Weird that the media emphasis of the Andy Carroll red was Chico being an evil diving foreigner, but when Toure does far less and Van Wolfswinkel reacts far more embarassingly, it's evil old Yaya assaulting people. Rooney does worse almost every game and it never even gets a mention

Not really considering it's already in the media. I've just read a Mirror article about it now so thought I'd come on here to see if anything was mentioned about it.

I've not seen it as missed the game and MOTD today.

Fucks me off though that they'll do a full article and talk non-stop about this yet other teams actions (scums being the main ones) get ignored. Rooney has on more than one occasion kicked out at players THIS season, one was shown on MOTD just the once, and not spoken about in the after match "analysis". No media outcry, no full articles about it, nothing.

So annoying when the media control who gets retrospective punishments and who doesn't.

We managed (just) without Yaya during concaf - does anyone else think we should have kept hold of Barry?

Barry plays every week at Everton, with it being a World Cup year as well he was never going to stay here and be a rotation player.
