He will get banned and we know it.

Of course he'll get banned. However hard he did it, he deliberately kicked out at another player. Violent conduct, 3 game ban, cya Yaya f*ckin childish idiot. To all those who are pointing their moaning fingers at the media, they didn't control his leg during the incident, he did. Great timing to lose him if he does get banned with Ferdy out...

I've got every right to be annoyed by the media, as it only seems to be when they say see fit that they highlight off the ball incidents to ensure a ban is given. How often has Rooney elbowed players and after the game it's not spoken about, not shown on MOTD or SkySports News on loop?

I'm not condoning what Yaya did by any means, it was stupid and reactionary. But, would that have been Rooney then I think it would only be being discussed on here by ourselves rather than MOTD talking about it and it being in the papers tomorrow.

That's my frustration.

That's what gets me as well.

There is no excuse for what Yaya did,so if he gets banned fair enough. We've had far worse go against us this season and it barely gets a mention, like the Larsson assault on Garcia.

But didn't the ref see it and decided that no action was necessary?

Don't the FA have the power to overrule what the ref saw if they feel the players action in question is deemed punishable.

I thought something like that came in this season, a new law? I don't know...

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

If any action is to be taken it will be before Wednesday as it has have the same affect as a red card in the actual game

If that was still the case i would have hoped the FA deem mbiwas assault on nasri a ban but no such luck

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Yaya doesn't like it when he isn't getting his own way.

He's been on a rolling boil since coming up against Matic and Chelsea.

His body language stinks, albeit, he's done no favours being played in such a deep defensive role.

He has a default petulant setting and if he does get a ban, he's hammered the final nail when we needed him to step up.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

MOTD acting as judge and jury. Bellamy running an arm into someone's face shouldn't warrant censure as the ref could see it- or at least the referee was looking in the same direction. Toure will be punished as the High Court pundits have spoken.
