Toure kick out - no ban (update p30)

If he gets a ban? Brown has got a two match ban, it would have been a 1 match ban but he's already been sent off this season so it gets upped to 2...

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

These simulations are bloody annoying. I am on the side of Big Sam when Carroll’s red card wasn’t recinded.
How can he get 3 match ban?. When you watch the incident the flaying arm just “brushed” the top of Chico Flores head…………he went down held his face for a second or two THEN did 3 Crocodile death rolls .Pathetic .I would ban Chico for 5 games as he has ‘istry of this.
Wolfs dinkle lay holding his back for a couple of seconds then he leapt up to confront Yaya………..nowt wrong with him. We are not cleaner than clean because last season Nasri was taken out during the Norwich game at Carrow road – right on the touch line. He sprang up to then have a “rutting session” with their player but Nasri got a red for supposedly Butting.
I always put myself in these positions – a scenario — If you got a slap(like Chico got) outside a pub in Market Street on a Saturday night – and rolled around like these Prem. footballers – your mates would

Rooney got off with kicking Mutch against Cardiff this season. Seen by the ref and only booked. New rules this year meant he still could be banned retrospectively, but wasn't.
Stupid by Toure but hardly violent. I am not convinced the FA will be consistent though.

This. Sky not the FA run football and decide who gets banned and who doesn't. One of their favourites ie Rooney, sweep it under the carpet like it never happened and it soon goes away.
One of our players, show it on a repeat loop time and time again, from all angles till it forces the FA to act.
Just look at the media attention we got for the Newcastle offside goal (yet nothing mentioned after in media about their disgusting fouling and assault they got away with or our wrongly disallowed goal v Newcastle at home), then the Spurs game and the penalty incident, again huge media outcry yet nothing mentioned about the stone wall one denied to us in the 1st half, and now look at the lack of media outcry over the Everton penalty appeal v Spurs yesterday.
Even after the Norwich game Sky sports said Norwich held city to a draw and even had a goal ruled out but nothing mentioned about our goal ruled out.
Just get used to it. He does not deserve a ban for that but I fully expect a ban which is sickening when you see far worse on a week by week basis that goes unpunished and even their own new retrospective rules they only apply when they see fit. Look at Rafael v Chelsea, nailed on red, got a yellow yet retrospective could have been red. Rooney v god knows how many inc Cardiff and loads more.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Let's go back a couple if seasons, city v Everton Kompany tackle on Cahill, moyse stood in our tunnel sky all over it at full time, stating he should have been sent off, two weeks after Hansen saying if city lose Kompany then they will be in trouble, fa cup comes up united get a ridiculous advantage with guess who getting sent off, now let's go forward the new ferguson states very lucky side they get this decision that decision, then you have bbc and sky all over the yaya flick because they think they are running the game, not a mention of the elbow to the head of yaya, but I see a pattern in each case, I never watch the scum but I've been told about certain tackles or stamps but not being shown on the highlighted programmes, it is manipulation of players in the game by media, Lipton has been pushing for this all weekend .

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Hughton has been sticking his oar in again, just like he did after Ben Arfa broke his leg stupidly going in for a 50:50 ball with NDJ. I had a fair bit of respect for Hughton before then.

My view is that retrospective action should be taken for clear, serious incidents. This was not serious but I do not deny that Yaya did kick him (just) and has thus given the FA the opportunity to follow the media clamour and ban him. BTW for the earlier poster it would be a 3 match ban because violent conduct despite Wes Brown's more serious incident not being violent conduct and therefore only 1 match, increased to 2 because he has been sent off already this season.
