Sorry if its covered, but who 'asked' The FA to look at the Toure incident?.......did they get asked to look at the Rangel or Rooney incident?

The FA asked the panel to look into it, presumably after the ref said in his report that he didn't see the incident at the time.

I asked the FA about the criteria for how it's determined that an incident should be looked at they replied that 1) A match official other than those on the field of play witnesses it 2) an incident is brought to the refs attention post game 3) the media highlight it 4) A member if the public brings it to there attention The latter one is almost impossible

Rooney on the other hand has got away with such offences in the past.

Against Fulham, Vidic did Holtby, and it wasn't covered by MOTD from what I can remember. I also remember a bad foul by Flanagan on Wilshere.

This retrospective action needs looking at. Either the FA Disciplinary panel reviews everything, or nothing at all. At the moment they just seem to look at those incidents where a player makes a drama out of it, forcing the media to cover it, or they look at something which Match of the Day highlights. It's open to bias. Match of the Day pundits are biased towards Liverpool

Just seen it again on Sty Sports News and while it's obviously a deliberate kick, IMHO, it's probably no more than a yellow.

And it has to be worthy of a red card for the FA to take action, from what I understand.

Got away with yet another media lash out at us. They have all highlighted Yaya's incident but, other than today, i'd not seen or heard about Bellamy's anywhere! Yaya's was no more than a yellow card anyway, the player feels the slightest touch and rolls around to make it seem like he's been stamped on! Yaya does need to stop his acts of petulance though, he won't be so lucky next time. I so hope he has a stormer against them on Saturday just to shut that whinging moron up for once!
