thats like saying youd rather have bellamy over barry, it depends what psition you need as yaya and kolo are two differnent positions.

Yaya has looked bloody good when playing centre back though

Pointless being big in Africa. No one can afford to buy our shirts on that continent and even if they did they would have to fly over as it is exclusive to the City store.

Therefore no african players should be bought.

Surely we can buy someone from the UAE though because they are very rich and could buy 365 shirts, one for each day. And they could fly in on Etihad airways which would also be good

We could do with a Chinese player to boost our profile there.

How about an Eskimo too ? You've got to be Inuit to win it !

I prefer Yaya at CB than in the DFM role.

But Hughes wants versatility so who knows?

I think he's better at DM his natural position

Why would signing 'one' African player boost Citys profile in Africa? It will boost it in that specific players country yes, but signing Toure for instance will have virtually no effect in Nigeria or Cameroon etc. In the same way as signing the best player in Japan isn't going to suddenly convert all of China to City fans.

Profile in Africa? Excuse my ignorance but why bother? Its hardly the most affluant place on earth is it?

Ask The Chairman and MH. Why do you think we are going south africa this year and Rags was their last??

Nonsense. All africans are like brothers, so if we sign an african the whole continent will support us. Simples

I'm no expert but playing a couple of friendlies in South Africa is hardly gonna dramatically increase shirt sales in that country let alone other African nations. Blackburn bought Benni Mcarthy and as far as I know ther is no Blackburn Rovers superstore in cape town or anywhere else on the continent is there?
