In answer to the orginal question, no.
Firstly, and most importantly, the solution to any of our players being out of form, especially young prospects, is not to sell them. They require time, guidance and an opportunity to regain their form. If that requires time out from the first team then so be it.
By its very definition, being in poor form is a temporary problem.
The £7m is irrelevant. I don't think ADUG will see the value of the cash in addition to Toure (or any other player exchange). Although the cash is involved, it appears like a player exchange, which we don't need.
I agree with this to some extent. Robinho is not great at tracking back, often leaving the LB exposed and leading to the aforementioned problems. Kompany, whilst an excellent acquisition and continuously improving, is new the the Premiership and does not have the experience of Hamann - our triplet of Hamann, Richards and Dunne from last season are 1) (obviously) no longer playing together and 2) under more pressure this season (because of the much repeated attacking imbalance of the team).

I want Toure, but not at the expense of Micah. I would want him here to mentor the kid, help him develop his game.
Hopefully he will sort his fooking head out and get out of the funk he seems to be in.

I cannot believe what I am reading. Micah Richards was awesome last season and like every young player is going through a bad patch. This happened to Ferdinand and more. We need to give Richards time and shoving him out the door for an Arsenal reserve would not be a very smart idea.

In MY unqualified opinion, Tony Adams was a much better defender later in life than he was in his youth, and so to Wio, oh and John Terry. Hmmm... Leaves it a bit difficult to name a brilliant defender at that age now, doesn't it? I find Dunne and Micah are BOTH reactive and have found a way of both working. One would need a Carvalho type player to dovetail Micah(We have that in Neds) and it's the manager that needs to see that. Micah will go one of two ways, then... Continue his path or learn to read the game better, with advice down his lughole.

Some players may have technical deficiencies which can be coached but try changing someones thought pattern? Fair enough, we are talking a guy not yet 21 with less than 4 years premier league experience but because of the characteristic some situations that other players would deal with far more comfortably become a problem for Richards. As much as I want Micah to become an all time legend for City, I just cannot see it.
Jesus christ I can't believe any of you would take Kolo Toure and hand Arsenal Micah Richards + £7m. You're all insane. Kolo Toure is alright, but his form has been just as shite as Micah's this season. Some of you writing Micah off after 6 months bad form are fucking retarded.
